Created in 1957 by a group of golf-loving visionary investors, the course has consistently been named in all manner of publications as one of "THE" places to play in Ohio. The course architect, Pappy Paddock, created a visual feast that is both challenging and rewarding for all levels of golfers.

Golf lovers from all over have voted to make Pine Hills one of the only four and a half star rated course in northern Ohio. The management and owners of Pine Hills have remained purists in their approach to the conditions and design of the course and the traditions and etiquette of the game.
